House & Home:

REMOVE WHITE FILM/HARD WATER DEPOSITS FROM YOUR TERRA COTTA PLANTERS: Using some dish soap and a hard-bristle plastic scrub brush, give the planter a thorough cleaning inside and out. Rinse to remove all soap residue. Now, using vinegar, wipe the entire pot with full-strength vinegar until all the white mineral deposits have dissolved. Let the pot dry completely.

CLEAN GRILLS: Spray double strength cleaning vinegar on a ball of tin foil, then use it to give the grate a firm scrub.

Kitchen:

DEODORIZE THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL: Make ice cubes out of double strength cleaning vinegar. Run the disposal with a few vinegar ice cubes and water.

CLEAN CAN OPENERS: Scrub the wheel of your can opener with double strength cleaning vinegar using an old toothbrush.

Maintaining your cutting boards:

Wash your cutting board as usual (water and soap or in the dishwasher) and dry it completely. Apply double strength cleaning vinegar to the board using a cloth and let it sit for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, wipe it down using a dry cloth.
